The $$$ is always the main motivator - we spoke last year about the savings. I guess the advantage that Google has is the ability to scale to such a large size. It will be interesting to see what usage happens and if students and teachers take to it. How is the Territory - will be up in a couple of weeks - we should catch up.</description>

After hearing the news that NWS Ed Dept. went to Gmail for students etc. I came across an interesting Email that convinced me of the real reason why they did it. $$$.

The issuu link was brought to my attention by an educator named Kern Kelley.  He is a wealth of Web 2.0 info.  When I saw what his students had accomplished with issuu, I was sold.  Check out a sample project his student did: http://tinyurl.com/kkissuu
